In this slow-motion film Doc Edgerton and his colleague Crawford H. Greenewalt (MIT 1922) illustrate the versatile aerodynamics of flying creatures from hummingbirds and wrens to a variety of insects. High-speed sequences, filmed at 1500 and 2400 frames per second, were produced by Crawford.
