June 25, 1953 Harold E. Edgerton. On the 27th I am going to Marseille with Bob for two months to work on the photography of underwater subjects. The trip is sponsored by the N.G.Society; Cousteau is our french contact. James Dugan is there from NY at the moment. I am taking Robot and 200 ws flash. [in different ink:] See Page 122 upper Leica and 200ws flash. 800 photo deep sea unit with 100 watt second unit. Reflected light. See pag[e] 122 upper Shadow 800 photo camera w/ spark lamp. 2 1/4" field 1"deep. See p. 120. Example p 121 All the above left Jersey City on June 22 scheduled to arrive on July 3 in Marseille.
