Description: (curated)
Three photos taken at MIT Open House are pasted onto this page. They show the water jet illuminated by Herbert Grier’s strobe (see May 2, 1938, notebook 9, p. 9); a young man hitting a tennis ball; and a young man holding a thin piece of wood fishing-pole style and striking it against another piece so the bending of the thin wood is visible. A fan seen on a table in this last image has “MIT Open House” written on its blades. (JB)
