Description: (curated)

Doc took his strobe to MIT Open House on May 2 and set up a demonstration of “water drops coming from a nozzle, the flow of water set up by a small pump.” From morning until about 6.30 p.m., everything went smoothly, but the tube broke “when some water was thrown on it by one of the spectators.” The tube was replaced with a neon tube that stayed operational until the event ended at 10 p.m. (JB)
