Description: (curated)

Multiflash reveals the magnificent geometry of motion as a talented diver, Burt West, flips backwards in a procedure that lasted less than half a second; taken in 1954. West was preparing a manual for divers, and engaged Harold E. Edgerton to assist him. See "Stopping Time" (1987), p. 6. (CC)

someone took a video of a person doing a backwards flip off of a diving board, then they put the still pictures together the way they would fit in real life, almost like a puzzle.
