From the description -”Unexpectedly, the knife like glass shards shatter toward the camera.” I work at hardware store and cut a lot of glass. I see glass do all sorts of unexpected things when it breaks – often when I want a nice straight edge. One thing I would like to see in an image like this is the way a narrow piece of glass breaks into several pieces when it is bent – it seems that it should only break at one point – after that first break starts where is the force to make all the other breaks? I see the same thing when I break a piece of uncooked spaghetti.
how about that !!
See “Stopping Time” (1987), p. 46.
